Kenneth Berry, a 40-year-old felon, was arrested in Ukiah after license plate readers tracked him driving a stolen pickup. During a Highway 101 traffic stop, officers allegedly found a loaded, unregistered pistol, which Berry is prohibited from possessing, near the driver’s seat, along with meth-filled syringes, a meth pipe, and ammunition. Berry was booked into Mendocino County Jail on seven total counts, including possession of a stolen vehicle, being a felon in possession of a firearm/ammunition, and possession of a controlled substance while armed. He is being held on $35,000 bail.
