Early Sunday, multiple collisions between vehicles and cattle occurred on Highway 101 at mile marker 84 near Leggett, starting around 3:51 a.m. By 4:49 a.m., four vehicles were involved, causing four minor injuries; all declined transport. A semi-truck fatally struck another cow at 6:13 a.m. CHP stopped southbound traffic for cleanup, towing of three vehicles, and safety inspection. The roadway was reopened around 8:45 a.m.
