The Lakeport Library will close for the entire month of December 2025 for the installation of a new fire suppression system, funded by the California State Library’s Building Forward Grant. The library is scheduled to fully reopen in January 2026. During the closure, limited core services will be available, including the online library which is available 24/7 at library.lakecountyca.gov; free public Wi-Fi remains accessible from the parking lot.
