Fort Bragg aims to curb abandoned commercial properties with a new ordinance, proposed by City Manager Isaac Whippy earlier in the month. Owners of commercial properties vacant for over 90 days must register within 30 days and post contact information; non-compliance will incur fees. Whippy calls the new ordinance essential to Fort Bragg’s 2024-25 revitalization plan. The City Council is scheduled to vote on the ordinance Monday, November 24th, at 6 p.m.
