A multi-agency pursuit that began in Humboldt County ended on Highway 101 near Hopland on Sunday. Ukiah Police arrested Elie Raphael JeanBaptiste, 28, and Dominique Jason Gulick, 23, after a high-speed chase involving stolen firearms. The suspects, linked to a Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office investigation, drove recklessly through Willits and Ukiah. Both face multiple felony charges in Mendocino County Jail. JeanBaptiste, on post-release supervision for a prior firearm conviction, is held without bail; Gulick’s bail is $300,000.
