A solo vehicle crash on Little River Airport Road, two miles southeast of Mendocino prompted requests for air ambulances on Labor Day. A vehicle ran off the roadway and hit a tree, blocking the entire road. There were three with critical injuries and one with minor injuries. Fire and medical crews, including Cal Fire, responded quickly. No word on the condition of those injured.
