Middletown Man Pleads Not Guilty to Numerous Felony Charges

William Ralph Harbour IV, 37, of Middletown, pleaded not guilty Thursday in Napa County Superior Court to charges including arson, assault, carjacking, kidnapping, carjacking with great bodily injury, evading officers, assault on peace officers, attempted vehicle theft, elder abuse, grand theft, and arson. Authorities state that on Aug. 21, he fought with family, ran over his father, burned his father’s car, and allegedly set the McKinley fire. He then carjacked a woman and her 7-year-old daughter and led authorities on a pursuit into Napa County, where he was arrested. Harbour’s preliminary hearing is set for Oct. 17. He remains in custody in Napa County Jail without bail.
