On Friday, Lake County Sheriff’s deputies found a deceased man around 7 a.m. at a residence on the 12000 block of South State Highway 29, following a reported home invasion. The Sheriff’s Office stated dthe incident was contained, with no public hazard, arrests, or road closures. Deputies remained on scene as the Major Crimes Unit investigates. The man’s identity is being withheld. The cause and manner of death are undetermined.
