A Clearlake man, Patrick Blaine Squier, 66, faces two felony arson charges for fires set 15 days apart. Arrested on August 23 for a fire behind Foods Etc. and released, and then again on the 6th for another fire behind Grocery Outlet, set while on bail. The court agreed to keep Squier in custody. Both cases are set for a preliminary hearing on September 15. Squier has previous convictions for felony assault, criminal threats, and controlled substance possession.
