A local pillar of the community, Deanna R.C., a longtime foster parent and volunteer, lost her home and pets in a fire recently. She bravely saved two special-needs adults, including her adopted child, from the smoke-filled house. Her daughter, Danilla Sands, launched a GoFundMe to support her mother.
