There is a red flag warning in effect through late tonight for northern Lake and Mendocino Counties. Elevated fire conditions are expectedin areas of northern Mendocino County, including Laytonville, Covelo, and the Mendocino National Forest and in Nice, Lucerne, and Upper Lake in northern Lake County Weather conditions, including gusty and erratic winds, high temperatures and the possibility of dry lightning could lead to fast-moving wildfires.
