Local homeless agencies met at the Consolidated Tribal Health Project last week to brainstorm ideas for Mendocino County’s “Strategic Plan to Address Homelessness” and address misinformation. Supervisor Maureen Mulheren stressed the need for local homeless organizations to share positive initiatives to counter negative rumors, emphasizing the need to reach those not present who complain. Another meeting to discuss the strategic plan will be held on July 21 at 1:30 p.m. at the Mendocino County Social Services Department in Ukiah, and the public is invited.
