There were several fires in Lake County over the holiday weekend. Saturday, around 10:30 am a blaze was reported near the Pomo Pumps gas station in Nice. Northshore Fire, Lakeport Fire, Cal Fire, and Cal Fire aircraft helped contain the fire, which burned about 16 acres. Later, around 2:45 pm, a fire about 200×100 feet was reportedly started by juveniles with fireworks at Highland Springs Reservoir. It was contained and law enforcement has photos of those juveniles. Late Saturday evening, crews were dispatched to the 13000 block of Manakee Avenue in Clearlake for a structure fire. Three buildings were involved. Crews were able to put those out within about an hour and a half.
