Cal Fire will begin prescribed burns along U.S. Highway 101 between Ukiah and Willits starting Monday, covering about 400 acres of grass starting at Nelson Ranch Road south of Ukiah, and finishing at the top of Ridgewood Grade south of Willits. Burns will take place from 6 pm to 11 pm daily. Smoke and aircraft may be seen in the burn areas.
