There’s been an arrest in the death of a Northshore woman connected to fentanyl has been made in in Lake County. On Wednesday, Sheriff’s Deputies arrested Ryan John Stahl, 40, of Lucerne in the death of Carissa Morton of Nice. On February 28th, Morton was reported missing, and when access was gained to her home, she was found dead of what was ultimately found to be a fentanyl overdose. Stahl provided Morton with the drugs that killed her. He was taken into custody and booked in the Lake County Jail on $1 million bail. He is scheduled to go to trial in July. Stahl is the second arrest for a fentanyl homocide in Lake County.
