A Lake County code enforcement officer arrested for bribery and grand theft pleaded no contest to two counts of accepting a bribe in Lake County Superior Court. Antonio Carlos Chavez-Anguiano, 36, of Clearlake, was advised a sentencing hearing was set for sometime in July. Chavez-Anquiano’s attorney informed the court that there are also some citizenship issues for the defendant and that he was aware of the consequences.
