Inland Areas to See High Temps This Week, Hottest By Midweek

The National Weather Service in Eureka reports temperatures across Northern California will climb sharply this week, with inland areas like Middletown, Trinity Center, and Covelo expected to reach 90 to 96°F by Wednesday before a cooler air mass moves in. Ukiah, Laytonville, and Hoopa are expected to see their hottest stretch by midweek. Inland residents should take precautions: limit outdoor activity during peak afternoon heat, stay hydrated, and keep pets, children, and the elderly out of hot vehicles.
