Road construction on Gobbi Street in Ukiah is drawing to a close, paving should be completed from Orchard Avenue to Dora Street by the end of the week; however, West Gobbi Street is another matter. During preparation for paving, areas of unstable base were discovered, and those areas will need to be dug out and repaired before that work can be done. Access will continue to be difficult for residents, and there may be some temporary closures. East of State Street, new pavement work should start on Wednesday or Thursday. Striping is due to start on July 7th.
