On Tuesday, a federal judge ruled on the Scott’s Valley Pomo tribes effort to obtain a preliminary injunction against the U.S. Department of Interior over its suspension of the tribe’s gaming eligibility determination for the tribe’s $700 million casino project. Other tribes opposed the Pomo tribe’s eligibility, and the current administration withdrew its approval. The Pomo then filed suit. The court did not grant the injunction, but indicated a quick resolution and confirmed that the tribe’s property remains in trust.
