The City of Fort Bragg has decided to move forward with a memorandum of understanding between the city and the Mendocino Railway regarding development of the former Georgia-Pacific mill site. The vote is the latest progress in the ongoing argument over what to do with the mill site in Fort Bragg. The Mendocino Railway has now agreed that a majority of the mill site will be subject to local and state oversight. Nothing is yet set in stone, and there will be two workshops held to continue the discussion, one on the 26th and another to be scheduled in July.
