Due to the increasing fire danger posed by the high volume of dead grass and hotter, drier conditions in the region, CalFire has announced it will suspend all burn permits for outdoor residential burning in Colusa, Napa, Solano, Sonoma, and Yolo counties as of Monday at 8 am. Lake County’s burn ban has been in effect since May 1st. The suspension does not apply to campfires within organized campgrounds or on private property. Campfire permits can be obtained at local fire stations or online at PreventWildfireCA.org.
