Ukiah Man Arrested in Connection With Recent Bomb Detonations

A Ukiah man was recently arrested after detonating an explosive device in a shopping cart, and is thought to have been the same person who created the bomb found near the Ukiah Valley Fire Authority. After examining fragments of both devices, the Mendocino County Sheriff’s Office located and arrested 46-year-old Todd F. Scott of Ukiah. During a search of Scott’s home, another device was found, along with three firearms. He was booked into the Mendocino County Jail on $75,000 bail, and charges regarding Scott’s felony possession of firearms are pending.
