The Lake County Tribal Health Consortium hosted its annual Missing and Murdered Indigenous Peoples Day event this past Friday in Lakeport’s Xabatin Park. Over 1600 attended the event, meant to memorialize those lost and to raise awareness of the high number of missing and murdered indigenous people each year.
