At the most recent meeting of the Middletown Unified School District Board of Trustees, the board voted unanimously to accept and ratify a final agreement with the Middletown Teachers Association. The new agreement will allow the approval of new stipends for the current school year and includes a contingency for a potential 1% salary increase based on financials at the end of the fiscal year. If the city’s general fund balance grows, then the increase could be possible.
