The Lake County Economic Developemnt Corporation has been awared a Catalyst grant through the Redwood Region RISE initiative meant to improve health care. The $650,000 grant will help move forward the Lake County Healthcare Education and Simulation Center, a project designed to address workforce shortages and provide healthcare training opportunities in Lake County and the Redwood Region. Partners will include a number of healthcare agencies in Lake County.
