A formal dedication ceremony on Wednesday will mark the beginning of work on the new, $144 Mendocino County Courthouse in Ukiah. At noon, city, county, and state officials and the public will gather at the historic Ukiah Train Depot to commemorate and celebrate the beginning of two years work to build the monumental complex, that is expected to bring millions of dollars into the community and expand the commercial center of Ukiah with infrastructure improvements along Perkins Street.
