Mendocino County Based Private Security Company Being Sued

A Mendocino County-based private security company faces criminal charges after its employees violently removed a protester from a GOP town hall in Idaho in February. The men, employed by Lear Asset Management, including CEO Paul Trouette, dragged Teresa Borrenpohl face down out of the room. None of the five wore visible ID and would not identify themselves. Borrenpohl has filed a $5 million civil suit stating she was assaulted and her constitutional rights were violated.
