The Mendocino County Sheriff’s Office has released the identity of the man found dead in the Russian River near the Perkins Street Bridge last week. The body of Roger Z. Schoenahl, 53, of Ukiah, was found on April 14th about 300 yards down river after deputies had been dispatched to the area earlier on reports of a man tying a rope to the railing of the bridge.
