A person is in custody after a high-speed chase through parts of Mendocino and Sonoma Counties. Monday night around 9:15, a white SUV was spotted on Highway 253 at speeds upwards of 100 mph, failing to yield. The vehicle sped south on the 101 past Hopland and Cloverdale at around 110 mph and into Sonoma County. Just before 10 pm, the vehicle stopped in the southbound #1 lane of Highway 101 near Healdsburg, with the driver refusing to leave the vehicle. Shortly after, the driver was taken into custody.
