A Fort Bragg man was sentenced last week for possession of child pornography and failing to register as a sex offender. 64-year-old Jeffrey Lloyd Hockett was found guilty of three felonies for possessing child porn and three for failing to register as a sex offender last December. He had been found guilty of similar offenses in Oregon. After a five-month delay while he tried to secure a retrial, Hockett was sentenced in Mendocino County Superior Court to 16 years in prison last Thursday.
