Work on a multi-year road construction project continues in Ukiah. The Urban Core Transportation Project is currently working along Main Street, with the final phase of water line work to be completed in a week or two. Crews will then build ADA ramps and sidewalks. Also ongoing is work on Gobbi Street, with workers installing a new water main between Orchard and Main Streets after the Main Street water lines are finished. East Gobbi will be closed in that area once work starts. Pothole paving on West Gobbi is expected to start in early April. For more information on closures in that area, go to cityofukiah.com/ucrt.
