Lake County Vector Control District will conduct targeted aerial spray treatment for mosquitoes of marshland near Clear Lake. Weather permitting, during daylight hours, the spraying will start Monday, with a drone flying low over areas between Clear Lake State Park and Lakeport. Winter monitoring has found a large number of larvae of a type of mosquito known to be aggressive biters due to hatch in the spring.
