The Mendocino County Sheriff’s Department is asking for the public’s help in locating a missing man. Daniel Jay Salmond, 72, was last seen around 10:30 a.m. on Feb. 27 at his home on Middle Ridge Road in Albion. Salmond is suffering from advancing dementia. Daniel Jay Salmond is 6 feet tall, 160 pounds, with gray hair and blue eyes. He was likely wearing a flannel shirt, khaki pants, and brown boots when he disappeared. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Mendocino County Sheriff’s Office.
