The Lakeport Fire Protection District Board will hold a special meeting Tuesday at 5:30 p.m. at the district’s Station 50. The main order of business will be interviewing applicants for a vacancy on the district’s board of directors. Terry Cherney, Gary Deas, Joseph Iaccino, Gregory Scott, Joseph Szupello and Jennifer Williams-Richardson have all applied. After the interviews, the fire board will consider the applicants and possibly vote on submitting a recommendation for the position to the Lake County Board of Supervisors.
