At Tuesday’s meeting of the Mendocino County Board of Supervisors, the possibility of a new permit for residents who want to rent part of their property for temporary lodging. The board noted that commercial private camping has existed in the county and guidelines should be created to help homeowners who want to start their own campsites and govern those who have already got unpermitted lodgings on their property.
