Earlier in the week, the Lake County Board of Supervisors passed an adjusted midyear budget. Board Chair EJ Crandell announced the amended budget, with adjustments in revenue, reserves, carryovers and fund balances from last summer when the budget was originally approved. The vote on the budget was unanimous. The topic of supervisors salaries was briefly discussed, and there was also emphatic public comment regarding the board’s decision to move the name change for Kelseyville forward, despite a negative vote on the issue from the community.
