The Lake County Air Quality Management District reports that it has reopened the district office and will serve customers Monday through Thursday from 9am to noon to drop off documents and some limited services . The office was closed to walk-in traffic last fall due to staffing shortages. Appointments are still advised, and residents in need of a burn permit can obtain them at lcaqmd.net.
