Lake County Sheriff’s Office to Test Warning Sirens on Monday Morning

The Lake County Sheriff’s Office will test the county’s warning sirens at 11 a.m. Monday, Feb. 3. The three-minute test will include warning sirens in Middletown, Anderson Springs, Cobb, Loch Lomond, Kelseyville aka the Clear Lake Riviera, and Riviera West. Siren tests are normally 30 seconds, but the February test will be the full three-minute activation that is standard in a real alert event. Notifications about these tests will be sent via LakeCoAlerts and Nixle just before each test. For more info go to Ready.LakeCountyCA.gov.
