A bridge near Mendocino will be closed through at least tomorrow as Caltrans works to replace it. The Jack Peters Creek Bridge on Route 1 will be closed overnight from 10 pm to 6 am both Wednesday and Thursday nights. The bridge will be closed to all traffic except emergency responder traffic, which will be escorted across the bridge. Motorists should plan alternate routes in that area.
