Hearings Concerning Chamise Cubbison and Paula June Kennedy Delayed Til Next Month

Scheduling conflicts have put a temporary halt to the legal proceedings regarding criminal charges lodged against suspended Mendocino County Auditor Chamise Cubbison. At the end of Wednesdays court session, Judge Ann Moorman said that travel plans involving County CEO Darci Antle, a witness for the prosecution and her own travel will cause the delay. That means Cubbison and her co-defendant Paula June Kennedy, will have to wait until February 24th for hearings to resume as to whether their case will be dismissed or scheduled for trial. The case has now continued for 16 months.
