The Clearlake City Council has voted in support of a new community wildfire protection plan for the Lake County Fire Protection District. At it’s meeting on Thursday, the council heard a presentation from the district fire marshal on the new plan, which would identify and address wildfire risks in the community. The plan is the first fire district specific plan, which will allow for development of more detailed plans to preserve the community in case of wildfire. The council voted unanimously to accept the plan.
