A body found on the shore on the the south side of the Noyo Bridge is likely that of 15-year-old transgender teen, Roy Mora. The search for Mora has been intense since they went missing on the 7th and was last seen crossing the Noyo Bridge on the night of the 7th. Mora’s mother identified jewelry found with the body as Mora’s, though an official declaration will not be made until the medical examiner verifies through DNA. Based on evidence at the scene, foul play was not thought to be a factor, and surveillance footage shows that there was no one else on the bridge at the time Mora was. Chief Neil Cervenka said, “The entire police department is grieving with Roy’s family and friends.”
