A wind advisory is in effect starting this evening through Wednesday morning. S Winds of 25-25 mph are expected, gusting up to 60 mph for most of Mendocino County. There’s also a flood watch for most of Mendocino and Lake Counties from late tonight through late Thursday night. 3 to 5 inches of rain is expected to fall tonight and Wednesday, with an additional 2 to 4 inches possible Thursday. Rain possibly continues Friday into the weekend. Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. There’s an increased risk of rock and landslides along roadways.
