The Mendocino Sheriff’s office has identified the 15-year-old victim of a brutal dog attack in Mendocino County. A sheriff’s captain has said that the victim’s family is now with her as she receives treatment at an out-of-county hospital for critical injuries sustained in the attack. The victim has yet to be interviewed by law enforcement due to her condition and her identity is being withheld due to her status as a minor. Investigation into the attack is ongoing and the Mendocino County Sheriff’s Office is asking anyone with information to contact them.
