The annual burn ban for Lake County has been lifted. CalFire declared this past Friday that the hazardous conditions connected with fire season have dropped. Burn permits are required for all Lake County Air Basin outdoor burning. Permits can be obtained at lcaqmd.net or by appointment at the district office. A smoke management plan will also be required for multi-day and overnight burns and burns over 20 acres in one day.
