Early last week, Lake County Sheriff’s Deputies and Detectives served a search warrant on a home in Clearlake Oaks. The home’s occupant, Casey Curnutt, 45, of Clearlake Oaks attempted to flee after being served. A K9 officer was deployed and Curnutt was captured. At the residence, stolen property valued at over $8000 was found, all connected to at least five recent burglaries. Curnutt was arrested and booked into the Hill Road Correctional Facility. Since his arrest, additional charges have been lodged against Curnutt.
