Fort Bragg has named a new chair of the harbor commission and a commissioner. MendoFever reports Jim Hurst, a long-time advocate for the development and sustainability of Fort Bragg’s harbor, has been recommended by the City for the position of Harbor Commission Chair. Dominick Weaver has been appointed as the new commissioner. Weaver has considerable experience in emergency marine operations, safety protocols, and public policy.
