An atmospheric river system is expected to move into the area starting tomorrow night, bringing with it possibly up to 5” of rain Tuesday night and Wednesday, with 2-4” on Thursday. Localized flooding early in the week with more extensive flooding towards week’s end is expected. Most of Mendocino County, including the coast is included in the forecast.
