A Ukiah man has been sentenced to 240 days in the Contra Costa County Jail after stealing almost $20K from the bank account of a Pleasant Hills woman. Andrew William McCormick, 23, pleaded guilty last week to felony identity theft, money laundering and grant theft after targeting an account holder at a chase bank branch in Pleasant Hill. Along with jail time, McCormick must repay the victim the money he stole and serve two years probation.
