A Ukiah man has been arrested after surveillance cameras showed him setting brush on fire on the Great Redwood Trail near Doolin Creek and a witness identified him. Jesus Delgado was seen setting the fire near Talmage Road and Waugh Lane. The Ukiah Valley Fire Authority responded and extinguished the blaze. Delgado fled the scene but was located later in the day and was arrested. He was booked on arson charges and a probation violation for vandalism and was lodged in the Mendocino County Sheriff’s Office jail.
